Paper Submission Politics
The official language of Automation 2026 is English. All papers and presentations should be prepared in English. All submissions must be prepared electronically in PDF format and submitted through the Online Submission System. There are two types of papers for this conference:
1. Regular Paper
-
Regular papers should not exceed 6 pages.
-
Papers exceeding 6 pages are subject to an overlength fee of NT$3,000 per additional page. A maximum of 2 extra pages beyond the 6-page limit is allowed (i.e., 7th and/or 8th pages).
-
Accepted regular papers can be forwarded to IEEE Xplore with the authors’ permissions and are expected to be EI-indexed. Another option for paper forwarding is the International Journal of Automation and Smart Technology (AUSMT). Authors should choose at most one of the above options (i. e., IEEE or AUSMT or no forwarding) during the submission process.
2. One-Page Presentation-Only Paper
-
One-page papers are intended for authors who wish to give a timely oral presentation of their research.
-
Accepted one-page papers will be included in the conference proceedings but will not be forwarded to IEEE Xplore or AUSMT.
